Mariners!

So, awhile back I won 2 tickets to a Mariners game, complete with a towncar ride downtown.  Today Freakachu tells me he really doesn’t like organized sports & doesn’t want to go if he doesn’t have to. SO, <a href=" http://www.livejournal.com/users/lady_absinthe/"> lady_absinthe </a> & I will be using the lovely box tickets I won! Yay!  I’m glad – she’s an actual baseball fan, so she’ll be able to explain what all the men hitting balls with sticks & running around on the grass are doing.  And why things are good or bad. 

 

They also gave us big bags of kettle corn today for the big employee meeting they had before I arrived for work.

 

In other news, I’m really tired. And this weekend is unlikely to help any with that. The part where I’m gone for a good chunk of the evening at a game, and the part where I’m at a solar power/energy conservation expo w/aimee all day Saturday won’t help either.  But, I’m hoping to get to roam around & have people tell me all about all the cool energy conservation save the earth type stuff I can do with my nifty new house, so as we move along & replace & repair stuff I’ll know what to spend the extra money on, and what to use old tech for.

 

I need some time alone with a piece of plywood & some acetate. I’ve decided on knotwork for my little cornice box.
